A true superstar who was lost way before his time.

Mistral rolled into the fence and broke his hind leg on the afternoon of December 19.
Nothing could be done to save him and he was brave until the very end.
He is buried at Shady Creek Performance Horses, home of his coach, Christine Stephens.
An oak tree will be planted on his grave.

"The wind blew but for a short time, but the memories linger on"

Rest In Peace my best mate.

... A dream of mine.

On the evening of Friday 6th February 2009, Ferndale Fleur (Mistral's full sister) blessed us with a black filly by deceased stock horse stallion, Chans Legacy.
The filly has been named "Shadyoak Memories" in tribute to her father and uncle.
Fleur will be joined next season to a New Forest pont stallion.
