At Forestway, we were pleased with the performances of our two young geldings, Forestway Replica (brown) and Forestway Garnet (chestnut) at the stud show this year in a double act.
Forestway Garnet was awarded Champion Led Mountain & Moorland Show Hunter from very mature M&M's of different breeds and not to be left out Forestway Replica took the Reserve Champion.
Penny Prosser's friend, Alan, did a good job showing Garnet for me as they didn't even have a practice run.
Replica went on to become Champion New Forest gelding on the sunday.
He consolidated this win with Champion New Forest gelding at Barastoc in the APSB section.
We look forward to him competing under saddle. (see picture)
Forestway Garnet is also working under saddle.
27/12/08 was very sad at Forestway as Pahake Royal Premiere, "Prem" has finally had enough in her 31st year.
Prem and Carmen (Forestway Flamenco) were Ascot's first and last foals.
