Around the shows 2008 - Benalla

After such a great role up for the 2008 APSB Action Pony Day in August, I felt sure that it was a sign that competitors were desperate to get out after the block placed on us last season by EI.
The Benalla show in October looked good for New Forests with eight ponies (New Forest and partbred New Forest) taking part.
Ponies from Forestway, Bain Park, Aylestone Park and the Whitmore girls competed.
Thanks go to Jan and Neil McBain of Forestway for sponsoring the M&M classes that are so important for us to hold on to.
Results:
Colt or Stallion was won by Penny Prossers' Aylestone Park Coolibah.
Mare 4yo and over was won by Bev Bresanello's pony, Mirrabook Tango with Forestway Flame second.
Colt, filly or gelding 3yo au was won by Sandra and Jim Barry's Bain Park Gigi, second Aylestone Park Apple Blossom and Forestway Garnet third.
Led Part bred was won by Forestway Felicity who also won the saddle class. second in the led was Aylestone Park Peppercorn.
Champion led was Bain Park Gigi and Reserve Champion was Mirrabook Tango.
